Karissa recently graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science. She has practical experience in strength and conditioning along with group fitness instructing. She completed an internship with the CSU football team and worked as a group fitness instructor at the CSU Adult Fitness program. She is working towards becoming certified in personal training and strength and conditioning.

Karissa is currently a cheer coach at Vista Ridge, Liberty, and Falcon High Schools. In her free time she enjoys watching football, reading, and line dancing.
